National level events will continue to be conducted on the Prime Tyres. This is using the National Competition Rules and the State Regulations and Supplementary Regulations to their maximum advantage – where the organisers of each competition want to use them. The organisers of the State Cup and the various State Trophy events that seem to be developing, would only need to nominate which of the Prime or Option Tyre would be used for their event in the Supplementary regulations for their event. Noting of course that those Supplementary Regulations must be approved by the State Association. It is recommended that this Table and the accompanying explanatory statements become incorporated in the 2019 Victorian State Regulations.
