The General Meeting of the Go Kart Club of Victoria scheduled for tomorrow night Tuesday 8th September 2015 has been cancelled.

The next meeting will be the Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm Tuesday 6th October 2015.

Nominations from fully financial members are hereby called for the following vacancies:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• 2 Ordinary Committee persons.

All nominations must be in writing and on the form provided. Nominations for positions will not be accepted unless signed by the nominee and member accepting nomination. – Nomination form can be downloaded below.

Please ensure your nomination reaches the Secretary – 1 Cook Street Port Melbourne 3207 - No later than 5pm 22nd September 2015.

Club day is this Sunday 26th July. Track direction will be anti-clockwise (down the hill).

Addendum 1 to the Supp Regs has been released which adds X30 Light to the classes offered. Addendum and Supp Regs are attached below.

X30 Light: Tyres cost $255 plus entry $120 = $375.

Entries are being taken on the KA:CMS now. Entries close Monday 27th July 2015.

The track will be closed to all members for private practise this Friday 17th July 2015 from 7am to 6pm – track has been booked for a private function.

Track will re-open for practise 8am Saturday 18th July 2015.

Just a reminder that the City of Melbourne Titles will be run on the 1st and 2nd or August, enter now on the KA:CMS

The 31st running of the City of Melbourne Title will be held over the weekend of August 1st and 2nd.

12 classes are on offer and racers will get Qualifying and 48 laps of racing (2 heats, pre-final and final).

Entries are being taken on the KA:CMS now. Entries close Monday 27th July 2015.

Please find attached a flyer from Vic Roads regarding road closures and access to GKCV this weekend.

Additional signage will be displayed so that participants can access the track. Traffic operators will be informed of our meeting this weekend and will assist where possible.

Please inform Traffic operators you are going to the Go Kart Track and you will be let through any closures.
