Use Of Practice Lights

NOTICE TO 125 'C' AND 'D' LICENCE HOLDERS
As of the 1st July 2008 all D and C grade licence holders must use a 125 Restrictor in any 125 engine either for practice or competition.
ONLY A & B grade licence holders are able to compete and practice in the unrestricted 125 classes.

As per Rule 32.09
If you hold a 2007 AKA C Grade senior 125 licence, have completed your P Plate endorsements and have four (4) B grade endorsements by the 31st June 2008. You are able to be upgraded to a B grade licence. Please forward you’re AKA licence onto the VKA office immediately for the upgrade.
If you haven’t completed the above requirements, your licence is to remain at C grade. You are then required to fit a 125 restrictor and use MG Red tyres or practice or competition in the restricted class.

Restrictors are bought from GKCV or VKA at $25.00.

If you are caught using a 125 engine without a restrictor, penalties will apply.

VACC, the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce, is the key employer group for businesses in the Automotive Industry in Victoria. It represents over 5000 large and small businesses: new car dealers, motorcycle repairers, crash repairers, performance workshops - everywhere you see a VACC sign or sticker, you see a member.

VACC is constantly seeking young people with an interest in automotive apprenticeships. There are great opportunities in the industry everywhere you look - working with cars, motorbikes, heavy vehicles, or in spray painting and crash repair. We think that people who enjoy working on their Kart's, will really enjoy working with cars, and will make great technicians.
So, if this is you, give VACC a call. VACC employs over 400 apprentices. A VACC apprenticeship is highly regarded in the industry.
VACC is proud to be associated with the Go Kart Club of Victoria.
